GERMAN TECHNOLOGY FOR MASTIC ASPHALT PRODUCTION
Turkish Asphalt sector’s leader Tekno Asfalt continues to “Mastic Asphalt” production which is used in most prestigious projects of Turkey by the help of Benninghoven brand plants which it distributes and is produced with the most modern technology.
“Mastic Asphalt” production which is used at bridge top asphalt applications like Bosphorus Bridge and Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge is performed only by Benninghoven plants in Turkey.
“Mastic Asphalt” is shown as the most appropriate asphalt for dense traffic and heavy climate conditions. “Mastic Asphalt”which is not affected from heat even though it is laid as a thin layer prevents breakings and icing due to cold weather in winter.
PERFECT MIXTURE IN MASTIC ASPHALT
Mastic Asphalt is produced in full automatic asphalt production facilities. The mixture which is composed of aggregate, high bitumen rate and filler enters stocking silos after mixing operation or is loaded directly to mastic asphalt mixers.
FILLER HEATER IN MASTIC ASPHALT PRODUCTION
Filler heater developed by BENNINGHOVEN is designed with the target to increase efficiency to the top level in mastic asphalt production process.
In order to optimize the perfoprmance capacity of the production facility, the filler is heated to the required temperature before being transferred to the mixer.
Heating operation is performed by the filler heater (FEH) which reduces energy costs and maintains materials to be in perfect condition.

MASTIC ASPHALT STOCKING
Stocking silos which are designed to increase homogeneity of mastic asphalt more can be integrated to the asphalt production facility. Stocking filos which can also be operated as independent units can be adapted to current BENNINGHOVEN asphalt production facilities.
Very strong silos which are produced by using latest technologies can be used for white, black and recycled materials and also they can be adapted to other current facilities when desired. Among BENNINGHOVEN product types, there are mixers which have capacities up to 70 tons.
Special materials resistant to wear and heat maintain units to have long lives and minimize maintenance costs. Careful heating can be made with liquid fuel, gas or combi broiler. Volume controlled mixer having variable speeds reduces wear to minimum with direct hydraulic or electrical drive.
With the dissimilar arrangement of high performance drive and mixing arms, optimum mixing and homogenizing of mastic asphalt is guaranteed. Due to the temperature to be monitored continuously, it is maintained that the quality of asphalt mixture to be at the top level always. Also in order to protect the surrounding of the facility, chimney gas sensors are placed. Due to that the number of high quality insulation and heat bridges is low, heating is performed in a short time and with low heat loss.
